At UNCCD COP17 in Ulaanbaatar, the 50 square metre House of Friendship became a public platform where Mongolian youth shared the results of months of work, joined international discussions and brought their ideas on land restoration and climate action to a global audience.

Ahead of the historic UNCCD COP17 in Ulaanbaatar, the Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSF) Mongolia and Korea Offices proudly partnered with George Mason University Korea to host the intensive Negotiation Training for Emerging Mongolian Leaders from July 31 to August 5, 2026.

The publication “Identification of Commonly Used Plants and Plant-Based Raw Materials,” developed through cooperation among the National Forensic Agency of Mongolia, the Botanic Garden and Research Institute of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences, and the Hanns Seidel Foundation, was officially presented.
