On 29 September 2026, the Hanns Seidel Foundation and the Law School of the University of Internal Affairs of Mongolia jointly organized a scientific conference entitled “The Role of the Legal System in Protecting the Rights of Persons with Disabilities: Legislation, Judicial Practice and Accessibility” at the “General” Hall of the University of Internal Affairs of Mongolia.

On September 26 and 27, 2026, a two-day in-person training on "Methodology for Drafting Legislation and Conducting Accompanying Research" was held. The training was conducted on the initiative of the Center for German and European Law at the National University of Mongolia, with financial support from the Federal Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany and support from the Hanns Seidel Foundation.

From 23–26 September 2026, the Hanns Seidel Foundation Mongolia and the National Forensic Agency of Mongolia jointly organized a regional training and professional exchange programme in Khentii, Dornod and Sukhbaatar provinces.

The Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSF) Mongolia has supported a connected process to strengthen the meaningful participation of young Mongolians in climate action. HSF supported the organization of Mongolia’s Local Conference of Youth (LCOY), where young people from Ulaanbaatar and local aimags shared their perspectives and strengthened their knowledge of climate issues.

With the support of our Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSF) Mongolia, the "17 Sustainable Development Goals" exhibition has officially opened.

At UNCCD COP17 in Ulaanbaatar, the 50 square metre House of Friendship became a public platform where Mongolian youth shared the results of months of work, joined international discussions and brought their ideas on land restoration and climate action to a global audience.
