The Criminal Law Committee of the Mongolian Bar Association, in cooperation with the General Council of Courts and with the support of the Hanns Seidel Foundation and the International Legal Development Organization, organized a discussion on “Criminal Case Proceedings Involving Juveniles” on March 27, 2026.

The Hanns Seidel Foundation, in collaboration with the Training and Research Institute under the Office of the Prosecutor General, successfully organized a workshop “Prosecutorial Oversight in Cases Involving Juvenile Offenders: German Experience” on March 26, 2026. The event was attended by over 260 prosecutors from the capital city, seven districts, and 21 provinces.

During the meeting, participants discussed ways to clarify the jurisdiction of family and juvenile courts, addressed challenges encountered in case adjudication, and explored the experience of Germany. They also exchanged views on improving the legal framework in this area.

On March 24, the Hanns Seidel Foundation, in cooperation with the Mongolian Bar Association, organized a meeting and discussion on the topic above.

Felix Jonathan Glenk has assumed the position of Representative of the Hanns Seidel Foundation for the Korean Peninsula and Mongolia, based in Seoul. In this function he coordinates the Foundation’s activities on the Korean Peninsula while continuing to oversee the Foundation’s long-standing programs in Mongolia.

One of the key objectives of the State Great Khural of Mongolia and its Secretariat is to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of legislative activities. In order to develop and adopt high-quality legislation that reflects national characteristics, aligns with the aspirations and needs of the public, and can be effectively implemented in practice, it is of critical importance to enhance the knowledge and skills of those involved in the legislative process, strengthen their professional capacity, and ensure the sustainable development of a qualified human resource base.

The opening event of the fifth year of the project “Youth: Environment and Law – Engaging Youth in Nature – Laws of the Environment”, supported by the Hanns Seidel Foundation Representative Office in Mongolia, was successfully held.

On 9 March 2026, the opening event of the “Earth School Mongolia 2026” program was successfully held online nationwide.

On 9 March 2026, the opening event of the NEYC – National Environmental Youth Council of Mongolia Members Capacity Building Program (2025–2026) was held. The program is implemented with financial support from the Hanns Seidel Foundation.

On 7 March 2026, a Training of Trainers (ToT) workshop was successfully organized in Ulaanbaatar at the office of the Hanns Seidel Foundation in Mongolia as part of the Earth School Mongolia 2026 program.
