We are pleased to present our next video lesson. This time we deal with the topic of 'coercive measures'. In Mongolian criminal law, this term refers to sanctions of a non-criminal nature that impose a suspended sentence or impose additional obligations on the convicted person in addition to the sentence imposed or otherwise restrict their rights.

Through this video lesson, we will discuss the topic of 'Authentic Interpretation of Laws' in general and the application of the authentic interpretation of Article 17.1 of the Criminal Code of Mongolia (theft). Furthermore, we will discuss the characteristics of committing theft on a commercial basis.

In 2019, the Hanns Seidel Foundation and the Academy for 'Legal Education', which it founded, are realizing a video training course on current legal concepts.

Mr. Andreas Zwerger - Vice President of the Bamberg Higher Regional Court - visited Mongolia at the invitation of the HSS. There was a lively exchange with Mongolian multipliers of criminal judges.
