Drawing on research conducted by the Hanns Seidel Foundation, a newly published article in the journal of the National Academy of Governance explores the evolving role of German political foundations in supporting democratic governance at home and abroad.

“Have you ever seen international conference participants attending a meeting in house slippers, washing their own dishes after meals, and young people playing a leading role in the process?” This tradition is common practice at the Regional Centre of Expertise (RCE) and is considered a simple step toward implementing Education for Sustainable Development at the regional level.

At the invitation of Mr. Felix Glenk, the representative of the Hanns Seidel Foundation in Mongolia, a meeting was held with Mr. Danzannorov Lkhagva, President of the Mongolian Bar Association; Mr. Batsukh Dorjsuren, Chair of the Association’s Qualifications Committee; and Ms. Sanjaalkham Tseveenjav, Managing Director of the law firm “Legal Attorneys” LLC.

At the initiative of Member of the State Great Khural (Parliament), O. Saranchuluun, and with the support of the Hanns Seidel Foundation, a national consultation on the topic "The Role of Local Governments in Implementing the Rights of Persons with Disabilities" was held in the “Great Chinggis Khaan” Hall of the Government Palace.

Professor Dr. Felix Welti from the University of Kassel, doctoral candidate Amarmend Sainbayar from the same university, and Mr. Felix Glenk, the representative of the Hanns Seidel Foundation in Mongolia, visited the National Human Rights Commission of Mongolia and learned about its work.

The Mongolian Bar Association, the Ministry of Justice and Home Affairs, the Faculty of Law at the International University of Ulaanbaatar, and the Mongolian-Korean Legal Research Institute successfully held an international academic conference on May 14, 2025, on the topic “Artificial Intelligence and the Legal System.”
