Civic engagement and participation are essential for ensuring that government decisions reflect the will of the citizens. They promote rational and efficient policymaking, uphold human rights and fundamental freedoms, and reinforce the values of a democratic society.

As part of the EU-funded project "Judicial Engagement and Transparency" (2024–2026) by the International Development Law Organization (IDLO), the Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSS), in cooperation with IDLO, organized a study trip for representatives of the judiciary, media, and civil society. The objective was to foster collaboration among these sectors and enhance competencies in effective judicial public relations.
