The Institute for Judicial Training, Research and Information at the Supreme Court of Mongolia organized a training course, which was supported by the Hanns Seidel Foundation Mongolia.

Professor Ralf Ludwig and his team from LMU Munich visited Mongolia from 13 to 25 May 2024 at the invitation of the NUM Environmental Education Center to discuss education for sustainable development. They offered advice and training for local educational institutions and organizations and established contacts for future research cooperation. The visit promoted exchange on topics such as climate change, environmental law, biodiversity and protected area management.

The Mongolian Lawyers' Association organized a training course on 'Urban Planning Law', which was supported by the Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSS)

Children from Mongolia have demonstrated their creativity and commitment to environmental protection in an exciting competition. In two age groups (8-13 years and 14-16 years), the young participants developed impressive projects and ideas to draw attention to the problems facing our world.

On 28 May, several lecturers were invited to the HSS to speak on the topic of 'Digitization of Courts'. The event was attended by members of the subdivision for the court digitization working group in the Supreme Judicial Council, judges and representatives of the court administration.

The Center for German and European Law was inaugurated! With high-ranking representatives from the judiciary, education and politics, this important event not only marks a milestone for the strengthening of Mongolia's legal system, but also for the exchange between Germany, Europe and Mongolia.

At the invitation of the Hanns Seidel Foundation, Mr. Müller and Mr. Mühlbauer from the Bavarian Police Training Institute in Ainring conducted an intensive training course on 'Crime Scene Investigation and Forensics in Environmental Crimes'. The training was aimed at environmental police officers, inspectors from the National Forensic Agency and lecturers from the Forensic Faculty of the University of Internal Affairs of Mongolia. The highlight was a practical exercise in Khustai National Park.

On the Saturday after May 9, Europe Day was celebrated on Sükhbaatar Square, where the Hanns-Seidel Foundation was also represented. On this day, we took the opportunity not only to represent our foundation, but also to inform young Mongolians about the opportunities offered by our scholarships and to present our projects.
