Around 200 officers from the capital and local authorities took part in the two-day training course to professionalize officers, which was organized in collaboration with the Environmental Police, World Wildlife Fund and Zoological Society of London.

On the initiative of the Administrative Court of the capital, the Institute for Judicial Training and Judicial Research and Data at the Supreme Court of Mongolia organized the above-mentioned scientific conference with the support of the Foundation.

The main topics covered were the 'Public law contract', the 'Application of law in administrative proceedings', the 'Subject matter jurisdiction in specific tax disputes' and the 'Methodology of financial reporting'.

With the support of the HSS, judges from all courts of first and second instance across the country received further training on the topic of 'Judicial Ethics'. The participants were made aware of the need for more ethics in the judiciary through the regular, accredited training.

Today, in the large lecture hall of the National University of Mongolia, the ceremony for the awarding of an honorary doctorate from the Institute of Law of the Mongolian State University to Prof. Ts. Sarantuya took place. For almost 28 years she successfully managed the representation of Hanns-Seidel-Foundation Mongolia.

As part of its environmental project, the HSS organized a study trip to Bavaria from 29 October to 5 November 2022 for a nine-member delegation led by Ms Nyamgerel.L, Head of the International Department of the Ministry of Justice and Home Affairs.

According to the 'National Programme for Increasing the Legal Awareness of the Public' of 2018, all governmental and non-governmental organizations are obliged to employ specially trained legal mentors for citizens in their own areas of responsibility. Since 2018, employees appointed as legal mentors in the aimags (regions) and in the capital have been gradually trained each year.

In connection with the differences of opinion and theoretical disputes among lawyers in the country regarding Decision No. 02/2022 of the Constitutional Court of Mongolia, the Standing Committee on Justice of the Great State Khoral (Parliament), the Ministry of Justice and Home Affairs, the Constitutional Court of Mongolia and the Constitutional Law Institute organized a conference among lawyers, with the support of the HSS, which was attended by more than 90 people from the legal community and members of parliament.
