Together with the Environmental Education Center at the National University of Mongolia, HSS Mongolia carried out a campaign to raise awareness among children and young people about the environment and environmentally relevant laws. As part of this project, five thousand students from families in subsistence-level circumstances were selected and involved in a fee-based environmental awareness program from April to October 2022, the costs of which were borne by HSS.

As part of the cooperation between the German and Mongolian cities of Murun/Khuvsgul Province and Baruth/Mark in the field of sustainable development, the fourth international water conference took place in the city of Murun from October 17-18, 2022. HSS participated in the event for the first time to ensure sustainable development in the environmental sector.

The Mongolian Lawyers' Association organizes an annual forum among the country's lawyers with the aim of supporting the obligations of lawyers in society and their contributions to social progress, facilitating an exchange of expertise and bringing about legal policy discussions on current controversial issues and making recommendations to the public in this regard.

Together with the Judicial Training Institute of the Supreme Court, HSS-Mongolia and the "Legal Education" Academy organized an online training course for administrative judges on current topics.

Today, representatives from 20 provinces and nine urban districts had the opportunity to gain qualifications and exchange ideas on the topic of 'Preventing environmental crime'.

Together with the Institute for Judicial Training, Judicial Research and Data at the Supreme Court, the HSS organized an international scientific conference on the above-mentioned topic.

The HSS has been promoting the exchange of expertise and knowledge transfer between German and Mongolian legal experts, including in the field of criminal law, since the beginning of its activities in Mongolia. Prof. Dr. Kasiske - Professor of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure Law and Commercial Criminal Law at the University of Augsburg - is one of the Bavarian experts and specialists who supports Mongolian lawyers and legislators with advice and further training.

In cooperation with the Supreme Court and the Institute for Judicial Training, Judicial Data and Research, the HSS organized a comprehensive educational measure on the above-mentioned subject area.

The juvenile detention centre and the treatment center for alcohol and drug addicts are the only institutions in Mongolia that work on behalf of the prison authorities to rehabilitate young offenders and treat alcohol and, in some cases, drug addicts.

Citizens make a major contribution to the detection of environmental offenses. For this reason, it makes sense to regularly raise public awareness. The legal mentors are an important instrument for imparting knowledge.
