Dr. Harbich has been making the long journey to Mongolia as a short-term expert of the HSS since 1995 and for the 24th time. For his special services to the development of administrative law in Mongolia, he was awarded the Mongolian Friendship Medal by the President's Office on the decision of the President of Mongolia.

On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Constitutional Court of Mongolia, HSS Managing Director Dr. Peter Witterauf, Head of the Institute for International Cooperation Dr. Susanne Luther and Head of the Northeast Asia Department Mr. W. Lange visited Mongolia from 27 June to 1 July 2017.

On 30 June 2017, the international conference 'Constitutional Justice: Current Problems and Trends' was held at the State Palace, organized by the HSS and the Constitutional Court of Mongolia on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the said court.
