For its contributions in disseminating laws, regulations and legal knowledge to the Mongolian public, the National Institute of Law has awarded the Hanns Seidel Foundation Representation in Mongolia its 'Partner for Law Promotion 2016' award.

From May 26 to 29, 2016, the Chairwoman of the CSU parliamentary group in the German Bundestag, Ms. Gerda Hasselfeldt, the Deputy Chairman, Mr. Max Straubinger, and the Foreign Policy Advisor of the CDU/CSU planning group, Mr. Lothar Müller, paid a working visit to Mongolia.
