Competition
Our voice for the future generations.

The Ecology-Education Club (EEC) at NUM, in collaboration with the Mongolian Environmental Civil Council (MECC) and the International Takhi Group (ITG), announced a competition sponsored by the Hanns Seidel Foundation. This competition invites participants to engage in writing, painting, and poster creation on the theme "Our Voice for the Future Generations." The goal is to encourage the younger generation to participate in preserving and protecting the Great Gobi ecosystem, while also expanding their knowledge, understanding, and empowerment.

The top essay writers were declared the winners of the writing competition. 

Out of a total of 127 participants, 7 were from middle school, 94 from high school, and 26 from universities.

In the middle school category:

  1. S. Amarmend (class 8a of school No. 24, topic: “Animal rights and human ethics”)
  2. Ts. Narantsatsral (class 8g of school No. 130, topic: “If I had been a Gobi bear”)

High school:

  1. E. Tselmeg (class 10v of school No. 24, topic: “If I had been a Gobi bear”)
  2. S. Anungoo (Central Province Zuunmod Sum, Human School, 10th grade, topic: “Animal rights and human ethics”)

University level:

  1. D. Gerelsuren (8th semester student at the Humanities University, topic: “Animal rights and human ethics”)
  2. B. Delgermören (6th semester student at the Pedagogical University, topic: “Our contribution to the protection of biodiversity”)

We congratulate all participants and wish them success in their studies. We encourage you to be active, responsible, and environmentally friendly citizens.

The top three posters submitted were announced as winners of the "Poster Creation Contest."

  2. B. Bujmaa (8th semester biochemistry student at the National University of Mongolia)
  3. E. Nomin-Erdene (12th grade student at Khyalganat Sum General School)

Congratulations to all participants who have become the pioneers of the next generation of amazing artists

A total of 45 people submitted their paintings as part of the painting contest, the winners were announced and the prizes were awarded.

  1. B. Otgonbaatar (School No. 14, theme: “Saviors of the Gobi”)
  2. S. Lkhagva-Ochir (Uliastai Sum HBK-07, Zavkhan Province, theme: “Wonders of the Gobi”)
  3. Z. Anhiluun (Student of the University of Science and Technology, theme: “Endangered animals of the Gobi”)

We wish our talented next-generation success in their artistic pursuits, academic studies, and overall learning journey.
