Training
Strengthening Resilience and Coping with Psychological Challenges in the Workplace
Professor and psychologist Mark Stemmler from Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg was invited as a guest expert to lead the training. Drawing on scientific research and practical experience, he provided participants with valuable insights into managing work-related stress, emotional strain, and challenging situations that frequently arise when working with children and adolescents.
The training focused on understanding the psychological impact of professional responsibilities, developing strategies to strengthen personal resilience, and promoting self-care and healthy coping mechanisms. Participants also had the opportunity to exchange experiences, reflect on challenges encountered in their daily work, and discuss practical approaches to maintaining psychological well-being in demanding work environments.
The program made an important contribution to enhancing the well-being and professional capacity of staff members. Strengthening the resilience and mental health of professionals who work directly with children and young people is essential for ensuring effective support, fostering positive development, and promoting successful social reintegration.
The Hanns Seidel Foundation would like to express its sincere appreciation to the Christina Noble Children's Foundation for its continued partnership and commitment to improving the lives of children and young people. Through their joint efforts, both organizations continue to contribute to creating better opportunities and brighter futures for the next generation.
