Status of Development of Environmental Law

The subordinate academy 'Legal Education' of the HSS Mongolia, in cooperation with the Administrative Law Committee of the Mongolian Lawyers' Association and its Subcommittee for Environmental Law, organized a writing competition on the above-mentioned topic among interested lawyers and researchers.

The aim of the competition was to collect new ideas and suggestions to involve young lawyers and legal scholars in the reform process, which could be helpful for the further development of environmental law.

 

43 people took part in the competition, 33 of whom met the formal requirements of the competition. Today (June 3, 2022) the award ceremony took place in the premises of the HSS project office. The award ceremony was opened with a short speech by Mr. F. Glenk and the President of the Lawyers' Association Mr. B. Unumunkh.

They thanked all participants for their active involvement and interesting contributions and congratulated the winner. According to Mr. B. Unumunkh, it was gratifying that so many young lawyers took part in the competition.

Mr. Glenk thanked the lawyers' association and the participants for their cooperation and declared his willingness to support the further education and training of Mongolian lawyers.
