Advanced training event
Environmental Criminal Law

The Mongolian Bar Association organized an advanced training event on the topic of 'Environmental Criminal Law' with the support of the Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSS).

The training commenced with a speech by Mr. Oyunbold, Head of the Mongolian Lawyers Association's Research Center, followed by remarks from Mr. Glenk, Country Representative of the Hanns Seidel Foundation in Mongolia.

The "Environmental Criminal Law" training was conducted by Ms. Tanja Wagner, a public prosecutor in the Bavarian State Ministry of Justice's Department for Education, Training, and Examination Law. Additionally, Ms. Bäumler-Hösl, senior public prosecutor and head of the Central and Coordination Office for Asset Recovery Bavaria (Zkv) at the Munich Public Prosecutor’s Office, addressed participants' questions and shared insights on relevant environmental crime cases.

The training on September 24, 2024, targeted environmental police officers and members of the Lawyers' Association. It covered essential aspects of detecting, investigating, and prosecuting environmental crimes, alongside the legal framework of environmental criminal law in Germany. The course concluded with a thorough Q&A session addressing all participants' concerns.
