Working Group on Constitutional Court Act in Karlsruhe

A six-member delegation of the sub-working group, consisting of representatives of academia, constitutional judges, parliamentary staff and the Ministry of Justice and Home Affairs, which is to provide technical support to the above-mentioned main working group of parliament, visited Karlsruhe at the invitation of the Foundation.
The delegation group met for expert discussions with Mr. Volker Batzke - Director of the Judicial Administration of the Federal Constitutional Court - and with Dr. Sibylle Kessal-Wulf - Judge of the Federal Constitutional Court. Delegation participants learned about the practical implementation of the Federal Constitutional Court Act (BVerfGG).
The delegation group was accompanied by Mr. Felix Glenk.
Mr. V. Batzke - Director of the Administration of Justice, Dr. M. Parmentier and Ms. A. Ingendaay-Herrmann provided interesting information about appeal procedures at the Federal Constitutional Court
Dr. Eichberger - judge of the Federal Constitutional Court - provided the group with additional information, including on the delimitation of jurisdiction between the ordinary courts and the Constitutional Court
Dr. Stephan N. Barthelmes - Deputy Director of the 'Stiftung Forum Recht' founded by the German Bundestag presented the foundation and innovative instruments that the foundation mainly uses for the dissemination of law
