Problems of Constitutional and Administrative Law

From November 20 to 21, 2021, the third International Scientific Conference (ISC) was held in Ulaanbaatar under the title 'Fundamental Problems of Constitutional and Administrative Law: Challenges in the Pandemic Era'.

The conference was organized by the Law Institute of the Mongolian State University in cooperation with several partners, including the Constitutional Court, the HSS and the Chimid Foundation.

 

In his opening speech, Prof. B. Amarsanaa emphasized the special features of this year's conference in contrast to previous conferences and his hope to achieve good results from the conference.

Academics and representatives of partner institutions from the People's Republic of China, Germany, Japan, South Korea, the United States and Estonia exchanged views and information on a wide range of topics, including challenges of modern democracy, problems of separation of powers after constitutional reform, challenges of the judiciary in the pandemic period, digitalization and e-governance, human rights issues related to the Covid-19 pandemic and other challenges in the areas of constitutional and administrative law.

 

During his speech, Mr. Felix Glenk thanked the partners for their close cooperation and expressed his hopes for continued successful collaboration.
