From May 26 to 29, 2016, the Chairwoman of the CSU parliamentary group in the German Bundestag, Ms. Gerda Hasselfeldt, the Deputy Chairman, Mr. Max Straubinger, and the Foreign Policy Advisor of the CDU/CSU planning group, Mr. Lothar Müller, paid a working visit to Mongolia.

The representation of the Hanns-Seidel-Foundation in Mongolia took over the organization of some dates of the visit program.

 

 

According to the HSS program, the high-ranking guests exchanged views with the acting President of the Constitutional Court of Mongolia, Prof. Dr. N. Jantsan, over lunch on the cooperation between the two countries in the legal field.

 

The delegation then met with Mr. D. Enkhbold, Managing Director of the NGO Mongolian National Mining Association, and Mr. D. Damba, honorary member and consultant of the aforementioned NGO, and learned about the development status of Mongolia's mineral sector.

 

The guests of honor had a conversation with the head of the Hanns-Seidel-Foundation office in Mongolia Prof. Dr. Ts.Sarantuya about the activities of the HSS project office in Mongolia.
