Due to a lack of knowledge about Mongolian legislation and the rights and obligations of media employees, there are increasing numbers of cases in Mongolia in which journalists have to appear before judicial authorities.

Participants increased their knowledge of the following topics:

 

- Contents, concept and regulations of the law on information transparency and information law

- Law on state and official secrets

- Legal regulations regarding insult and defamation of natural and legal persons

- Legal regulations regarding intellectual property, their implementation and international practice etc.
