Consultation Meeting
Youth & NDC 3.0

With the support of Hanns-Seidel-Stiftung Mongolia, the National Environmental Youth Council, in cooperation with the Youth Empowerment in Climate Action Platform (YECAP) and UNDP Mongolia, successfully organized a consultation meeting on “Strengthening Youth Participation and Leadership in the Implementation of NDC 3.0”.

The event brought together high school students and young people to exchange views on the implementation of Mongolia’s Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC 3.0), the local impacts of climate change, and the role of children and youth participation in climate action.

During the consultation, participants shared their ideas, initiatives, and practical experiences on the following topics:

  • Climate education and access to information
  • Youth participation and leadership
  • Local climate challenges and solutions
  • Green development and sustainable lifestyles

The recommendations and proposals gathered during the discussions will contribute to the development of youth policy recommendations related to the implementation plan of NDC 3.0.
