Fundamental Problems of Constitutional and Administrative Law

The Law Institute of Mongolian State University, Mongolian Bar Association, Chimid Foundation, Hanns Seidel Foundation and Nagoya University jointly organized the above conference on October 8, 2018 in Ulaanbaatar, while Mongolian, Russian, Japanese, German and Korean scholars shared their experiences and opinions on current problems of constitutional and administrative law reforms.

Prof. Dr. jur.habil. Ts.Sarantuya - the country's honored lawyer, head of the HSS Representation in Mongolia and professor at the Institute of Law - criticized the insufficient will of political decision-makers to implement the values enshrined in the constitution in her lecture 'Constitutional values, their implementation'.

At the invitation of the HSS, Prof. Dr. Peter Kasiske from the University of Augsburg took part in the conference with a contribution entitled 'Institutional requirements for the separation of powers'. Prof. Kasiske is an experienced German legal scholar who has been working in Mongolia since 2000 at the invitation of the HSS and has made a major contribution to the country's criminal law reform.
