Information Trip of Mongolian Lawyers in the Field of Commercial Law

At the invitation of the HSS, a delegation of representatives from the Law Institute of the Mongolian State University, the Supreme Judicial Council and the Ministry of Justice and Home Affairs paid a research visit to Germany from January 21 - 28, 2018.

At the invitation of the HSS, a delegation of representatives from the Law Institute of the Mongolian State University, the Supreme Judicial Council and the Ministry of Justice and Home Affairs paid a fact-finding visit to Germany from January 21 - 28, 2018. Delegation members held expert discussions at the Bavarian State Ministry of Justice, at some courts in Munich and Bayreuth, at the LMU Munich and the University of Bayreuth as well as at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg and gathered experience from German professional organizations regarding the drafting and application of the Commercial Code. The information visit achieved the improvement of the Civil Code of Mongolia according to the current needs and the identification of the necessity to separate the Commercial Code from the Civil Code and to develop an independent Commercial Code.
