Handover of Boots for Examinations

The HSS handed over a suitable boat to the environmental police for investigation and control purposes with regard to detection and prevention of environmental crime and administrative offenses.

"The use of the boat enables the environmental police officers to effectively carry out the investigation and control processes, as most environmental crimes, especially illegal mining of raw materials and drinking water and water pollution, are committed on and along the river. Therefore, the creation of a suitable device is of serious importance for the employees," emphasized the police colonel Mr. Baatar.T.

 

As part of the environmental law projects, the HSS has been working successfully with the environmental police since 2022 to improve the enforcement of the Environmental Protection Act, train specialists and strengthen activities.  

At the handover, Mr. Felix Glenk expressed his hope that the effective use of the boat would have a positive impact on combating and preventing environmental crime and protecting nature.

The HSS plans to support various activities related to the German-Mongolian exchange of experience in the environmental sector in 2023.
