Ranger Guidebook Officially Launched

With the support of the Hanns Seidel Foundation, the “Guidebook for Rangers I” was officially launched on 5 May 2026 at the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change of Mongolia.

The guidebook aims to strengthen the legal knowledge and practical skills of rangers by providing accessible and practice-oriented explanations of the rights, duties, and cooperation mechanisms of volunteer rangers and rangers with inspection authority. It also includes practical instructions, templates, and explanations related to environmental inspections, documentation, and violation detection, complemented by comic illustrations and practical examples.

The guidebook was developed by legal expert T. Tseren and jointly published by the Mongolian Rangers Association, the Mongolian Environmental Civil Council, and the Hanns Seidel Foundation.

During the event, copies of the guidebook were distributed to state inspectors, rangers, and volunteer environmental activists. Representatives of the partner organizations also emphasized the importance of strengthening future cooperation in the fields of environmental law and nature conservation.

The guidebook serves as an important practical resource for the daily work of rangers and contributes to improving their legal understanding, practical skills, and occupational safety knowledge.
