Discussion on Asset Confiscation Held at the National Academy of Governance

The discussion was held at the National Academy of Governance on 15 June 2026.

Representatives of the Hanns Seidel Foundation, faculty members from the Department of Public Administration and the Department of Law of the National Academy of Governance, and Ms. Hildegard Bäumler-Hösl, Chief Public Prosecutor and Head of the Central Office for Combating Money Laundering and Asset Confiscation (ZGV) of the Free State of Bavaria, Germany, participated in the discussion. The participants exchanged views on the legal framework, international experience, and current challenges in identifying and confiscating illicit assets.
