On November 6, 2025, the Police School of the University of Internal Affairs of Mongolia, in cooperation with the Hanns Seidel Foundation, successfully organized the National Student Research Conference under the theme “Students’ Participation in Ensuring Environmental Safety.” A total of 65 research papers demonstrated the active engagement of students in environmental protection, law, and technological innovation.
Opening Remarks
The conference was opened by Mr. Felix Glenk, Resident Representative of the Hanns Seidel Foundation in Mongolia, and Professor Dr. N. Badraa, Colonel and Professor at the Department of Criminal Procedure Law of the Police School. Both delivered welcoming remarks and extended their best wishes to the participating students and researchers.
The conference was moderated by Associate Professor Dr. N. Sainbayar, Lieutenant Colonel and faculty member at the Department of Criminal Procedure Law of the Police School.
Participants and Research Topics
A total of 65 research papers were submitted from universities across Mongolia. Based on preliminary evaluations, the jury selected 8 outstanding papers for presentation and discussion.
The students presented a wide range of topics covering environmental protection, law enforcement, artificial intelligence, and technological innovation, including:

At the conclusion of the conference, the jury evaluated the papers based on their scientific significance, practical relevance, methodology, and presentation skills, and selected the top three best presentations:
Certificates and monetary prizes were awarded to the winners. All presented studies demonstrated high academic quality, creative thinking, and strong practical relevance.
This national scientific conference served as a vital venue for young researchers to enhance their understanding of environmental law, develop research skills, and foster innovation, providing a meaningful example of student participation in ensuring environmental safety.
