Improvement of constitutional court control

In connection with the differences of opinion and theoretical disputes among lawyers in the country regarding Decision No. 02/2022 of the Constitutional Court of Mongolia, the Standing Committee on Justice of the Great State Khoral (Parliament), the Ministry of Justice and Home Affairs, the Constitutional Court of Mongolia and the Constitutional Law Institute organized a conference among lawyers, with the support of the HSS, which was attended by more than 90 people from the legal community and members of parliament.

During the conference, seven academic presentations were given by renowned constitutional lawyers of the country on the controversial points of the above-mentioned decision.

 

This was followed by an open expert discussion. To a certain extent, the conference served to unify different views.
