Representative of the national forensic authority at HSS Mongolia

To counteract environmental crime, the Hanns Seidel Foundation of Mongolia has been working with the national forensic authority since 2022.

The cooperation between the two organizations will be expanded through the German-Mongolian exchange of experts, national and international training courses, the organization of the workshop, and the implementation of the study trip with the aim of establishing an animal database for rare and endangered species that are often illegally hunted and smuggled. 

 

Ms. Davaa.B, Police Colonel, First Deputy Director and Mr. Lamchin.B, Police Colonel and Head of Natural Science Department of the above-mentioned agency met Mr. Glenk and exchanged views on further cooperation. So far, the genetic information of 58 species has been newly entered into the international database. 

Acknowledgments

After the meeting, they congratulated the Hanns Seidel Foundation Mongolia on its 30th anniversary and presented Mr. Glenk with a gift on behalf of her organization.
