Legal mentors in Khuvsgul Aimag

According to the 'National Programme for Increasing Public Legal Awareness' of 2018, all governmental and non-governmental organizations are obliged to appoint specially trained legal mentors for citizens in their own areas of responsibility. Since 2018, the employees appointed as legal mentors have been trained annually in the aimags (regions) and in the capital.

The National Institute of Justice is responsible for organizing and conducting the training.

 

In the period from December 12 - 14, 2022, the regular training for legal mentors and interested citizens on environmental law topics took place in Khuvsgul Aimag, which was supported by the HSS. The above-mentioned training was carried out within the framework of the new curriculum developed by the HSS.

The legal mentors are expected to use the knowledge imparted in their day-to-day work or pass it on to interested citizens who are concerned with environmental issues.
