Legal mentors in the Uvurkhangai Aimag

According to the 'National Programme for Increasing the Legal Awareness of the Public' of 2018, all governmental and non-governmental organizations are obliged to employ specially trained legal mentors for citizens in their own areas of responsibility. Since 2018, employees appointed as legal mentors in the aimags (regions) and in the capital have been gradually trained each year.

The National Institute of Justice is responsible for organizing and conducting the training.

On November 3, 2022, a regular training for legal mentors on environmental law topics took place in the Uvurkhangai Aimag, which was supported by the HSS. The above training was conducted as part of the new curriculum developed by the HSS.

The legal mentors are expected to use the knowledge imparted in their day-to-day work or pass it on to interested citizens who are concerned with environmental issues.

Manuals, handouts and the periodicals "Jusline & Rechtsnachrichten" developed by the HSS were also used during the training.
