18. Ainringer Eastern days

For the 18th time, the Bavarian State Police organized the Ainring Easter Days at the Bavarian Police Training Institute (BPFI) in Ainring. This international police conference attracted over 110 participants.

The conference focused on the topics of "Leading in challenging times" and "Recruiting and developing personnel in challenging times".

State Police President Michael Schwald, Bavaria's top police officer, opened the conference and emphasized the important role of managers in times of multiple crises for democracy and the rule of law.

During the conference, the high-ranking participants listened to presentations on various topics. Among others, Police Director Dr. Bernd Bürger spoke about social change using the example of Generation Z and challenges for the police. Minister of State Joachim Herrmann from the Bavarian Ministry of the Interior discussed the importance of this year's conference theme 'Leading in challenging times' and the extent to which leadership in general and specifically in the security and police sector must adapt to rapidly changing social circumstances and the risks involved if this does not happen.
