On September 16, 2023, a training course for judges from Darkhan-Uul and Selenge provinces took place. The training on the topic of “Electronic Evidence” was organized by the Institute for Judicial Training, Research and Information at the Supreme Court of Mongolia in cooperation with the Hanns Seidel Foundation.

It was led by Prof. Dr. Eric Hilgendorf - holder of the Chair of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure Law, Legal Theory, Information Law and Legal Informatics at the University of Würzburg.

The content of the training was divided into four points:

Basic legal situation when collecting electronic evidence
Collection of electronic evidence
Evaluation of electronic evidence
Submission to the main trial.

Judges from the provinces of Darkhan-Uul and Selenge took part in the training event.
