Children and Young People for the Environment

The first part of the 'Children and Young People for the Environment - Environmental Law' program was carried out successfully. Over 2,000 children and young people from the Chingeltei district took part.

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National University of Mongolia (NUM), the above-mentioned program was successfully implemented by the Environmental Education Center with the support of the HSS and the members of parliament Mr. Sukhbaatar.J and Mrs. Bulgantuya.Kh.

In the period from April 25 to May 9, 2022, 2000 children and young people from the Chingeltei district took part.

The participants had the opportunity to visit various stations such as 'Seed journey', 'Animals in our museum', 'Busy worm' and 'On the trail of the invisible'. They were able to test their knowledge of nature and ecology and learn about ways to protect nature.

They also visited the 'Let me live' station to gain basic knowledge about the damage caused by environmental crime, its consequences under criminal law and prevention measures. The station was led by experts from the environmental police.

The practical nature of the stations made them particularly attractive for the children.

Das Programm zielt insgesamt auf 5000 Schühler ab, weswegen es im September und Oktober fortgesetzt wird.
