Case Law Situation in Environmental Disputes

The Institute for Judicial Training, Judicial Research and Data of the Supreme Court, the Constitutional Law Institute of the National University and the Hanns Seidel Foundation jointly organized a national academic conference on the above-mentioned topic on 8 June 2022.

The President of the Supreme Court Mr. D. Ganzorig, the Chairman of the Supreme Court Council Dr. D. Zumberellkham and Mr. Felix Glenk opened the conference with short speeches.

 

The event was attended by judges from various courts and other lawyers and researchers, who discussed topics such as environmental offenses, judicial practice in environmental disputes, compensation for environmental damage, the right to live in a healthy environment and other current issues.

The conference was divided into criminal, civil and administrative law groups, which met separately. Participants emphasized the importance of the agenda and suggested organizing them in series on different topics.

Presentations from the conference will be published in the special edition of the journal "State and Law of Mongolia". (In German: Staat und Recht der Mongolei)
