Specific Characteristics and Legal Framework of Cybercrime
In their opening remarks, Mr. Ch. Khosbayar, Chairman of the Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court of Mongolia, and Mr. Felix Glenk, Representative of the Hanns Seidel Foundation in Mongolia, expressed their satisfaction with the long-standing cooperation since 1993 to promote the rule of law and to strengthen democratic structures in Mongolia.
The training was led by Mr. Stephan Schäl, Senior Public Prosecutor and Permanent Deputy to the Chief Public Prosecutor at the Central Office for Cybercrime Bavaria, located at the General Prosecutor’s Office in Bamberg. He gave lectures on the following topics:
"Specific Characteristics, Legal Framework, and Types of Cybercrime"
"Investigation Procedures in Cybercrime Cases"
"Types of Digital Evidence and Criteria for their Evaluation"
Seven judges from the Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court participated in the training.
