The program aims to strengthen environmental awareness among young people and to promote knowledge on climate change, desertification, environmental law, and sustainable development.
Currently, around 70 schools have registered, with more than 1,500 students expected to participate.
The Earth School Mongolia 2026 program will run from March to August 2026 in a hybrid format combining online and in-person activities. Students will also have the opportunity to design and implement their own environmental initiatives and projects.
Outstanding student-led environmental projects developed during the program may also be showcased during events related to UNCCD COP17, which will be hosted in Mongolia.
