Future Goals: Sustainable Eco Clubs – Broad Participation
The continuity and effectiveness of Eco Club activities depend heavily on the involvement of teachers, social workers, student engagement, and organizational capacity. Due to challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic, limited resources, and staffing issues, some Eco Clubs became inactive. Therefore, the following goals have been set moving forward:
- Strengthening the Eco Club organizational framework,
- Increasing student engagement through staged competitions, projects, and programs,
- Organizing experience-sharing events at district and regional levels,
- Developing a centralized information and monitoring system for Eco Clubs,
- Establishing new Eco Clubs in rural areas.
- Cooperation with the Hanns Seidel Foundation: Expanding Environmental Education
The financial and collaborative support of the Hanns Seidel Foundation Mongolia played a significant role in the successful implementation of this campaign. Moving forward, partnerships between government and civil society organizations will be further strengthened to promote ecological knowledge, traditional environmental values, and sustainable practices among children and youth, and to continue implementing multifaceted activities for environmental protection.
